Alicia Hill

Director of Public Relations and Communications, Florida Chamber of Commerce

Alicia Hill is an accomplished communications and public relations leader and currently serves as the Director of Public Relations and Communications for the Florida Chamber of Commerce. Joining the Chamber in October 2024, she brings her deep expertise in crafting meaningful, impactful messaging that strengthens the Chamber’s mission to Secure Florida’s Future. Alicia’s work is all about connecting people and the media to the Chamber’s goals, advancing key initiatives, and fostering a true sense of community.

Before joining the Chamber, Alicia was the Director of Communications for the Tallahassee Police Department, where she reshaped the way the agency connected with the public. She led the transition of the Public Information Office and became the first civilian to ever hold that position. Alicia was instrumental in the branding overhaul for the department, including the launch of the “HERE for You” initiative to build trust within the community. Overseeing everything from social media channels to internal communications, Alicia brought new energy and a clear voice to the department’s work, helping create a stronger bridge between law enforcement and the people it serves.

With a background in journalism as both a reporter and anchor, Alicia has covered stories with heart and integrity, earning several Florida Associated Press Awards along the way. She’s been honored as one of Tallahassee’s “Top 20 under 40” three times and has shared her knowledge as an adjunct professor at FAMU, FSU, and TSC, preparing the next generation of communications professionals.

As a proud Tallahassee native, Alicia’s love for her work is matched only by her love for her family. She cherishes time spent with her husband and young daughter, whose support means everything to her. Alicia’s dedication to her community, expertise, and warm, genuine approach makes her a powerful voice in Florida’s public relations landscape.
