Autonomous Shuttles Provide a Promising Parking Solution

New legislation signed into law earlier this year has made Florida the most autonomous friendly states in the nation. Championing autonomous innovations while also protecting transportation networks from costly and duplicative regulations is a top priority of the Florida Chamber’s Autonomous Florida program.

Harnessing the benefits of emerging mobility options and smart and connected city technology is a cornerstone for WGI thought leader Lisa Nisenson. She recently shared how autonomous shuttles can be a promising parking solution on the latest Florida Chamber Series on Free Enterprise.

“One of the most promising parking solutions is with autonomous shuttles,” Nisenson explained. “There will be more remote parking with a predictable shuttle. This is good for college campuses that can use their more valuable real estate for things like classrooms and event spaces.”
