Fort Walton Beach, Fla. (Sept. 3, 2024) – Eglin Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce Neko Stubblefield of Baker has been promoted to the Senior VP of Membership and Community Development. Stubblefield has worked for the Credit Union since 2017. She oversees membership growth, community development and financial education. In her new role, she will have expanded responsibilities to include community development across the Credit Union’s expanding footprint.
President/CEO Jerry Williams said, “We are thrilled to recognize Neko’s hard work, dedication and outstanding leadership with this well-deserved promotion. Neko’s passion for our mission and vision, combined with her in depth knowledge of our industry, will be instrumental as we continue to provide exceptional value and service to our members.”
Stubblefield serves on numerous boards and committees including One Okaloosa Economic Development Council (Vice Chair), Okaloosa Public Schools Foundation, Northwest Florida State College Foundation, Rocky Bayou Christian School, Okaloosa Technical College Advisory Board, Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Department Advisory Committee, and she was past Chair of the Crestview Chamber of Commerce. Neko also serves on the Crestview Chamber’s Military Affairs Committee (Chair), Fort Walton Chamber’s Military Affairs Committee, and Niceville Chamber’s Military Affairs Committee.
She is currently an AFMC Civic Leader representing the 96TW, Eglin AFB and Honorary Commander at 7th SFG, Camp Bull Simons. She was an Honorary Commander at 919th SOW, Duke Field and 1 SOW, Hurlburt Field.
Stubblefield has been recognized with the following awards: Emerald Coast Board of Realtist- Associate of the Year (2024), Okaloosa County Commission of the Status of Women-Woman of Honor (2024), Crestview Chamber of Commerce-Cornerstone Award (2023), United Way of the Emerald Coast-Forever Young Award (2023), and the Destin Chamber of Commerce-Business Person of the Month Award (2022).
She added, “I am honored to embrace this new role at Eglin FCU and look forward to collaborating with our talented team to drive growth and continued focus on member success. Together, we will build upon our strong foundation and create an even brighter future for our Credit Union and the communities we serve.”

Eglin Federal Credit Union was chartered in 1954 and is a not-for-profit, member-owned financial institution, federally regulated by the National Credit Union Administration.
