Fairwinds Credit Union Donates $50K Towards Hurricane Ian Relief Efforts in Central Florida and Statewide

FAIRWINDS Credit Union has made a $50,000 donation to assist with Hurricane Ian relief efforts in Central Florida and across the state. FAIRWINDS will be directing $25,000 to the Hurricane Recovery Fund established by the Heart of Florida United Way and the Central Florida Foundation. This collaborative effort includes many corporate, individual and Foundation contributors across the region. The fund will focus on the immediate needs of residents in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole Counties. The focus of the fund will then turn to long-term recovery efforts.

In addition, FAIRWINDS is directing $25,000 to the statewide Florida Disaster Fund championed by Florida First Lady Casey DeSantis. These donations will be directed to critical help needed for Hurricane Ian relief efforts. We know in times of need, it’s important to understand where to give and the immediate impact it has. We are grateful for the long-time partnership with nonprofit organizations that know how to quickly make a positive impact on Floridians.
