Florida Chamber of Commerce Endorses Jennifer Bradley in Senate District 5 Race

TALLAHASSEE, FL (August 21, 2020) – The Florida Chamber of Commerce is uniting Florida’s business community for good, and today endorsed Jennifer Bradley in the Senate District 5 race to replace term-limited Senator Rob Bradley.

As a small-business owner, Jennifer Bradley understands the importance of maintaining a competitive Florida and fighting back against job-killing regulations.

“Jennifer is committed to Florida’s future and will work tirelessly to create jobs and move Florida in the right direction,” said Mark Wilson, President and CEO, Florida Chamber of Commerce. “She is the type of leader that has a firm commitment of driving sound policy and will help continue efforts to relaunch Florida.”

The latest Florida Chamber statewide poll of likely Florida voters shows that 71 percent support COVID-19 liability protections for businesses that are working hard to protect the health and safety of employees and customers, and they believe the Florida Legislature should pass legislation to provide these safe harbors for job creators. Jennifer Bradley is the only candidate for Senate District 5 who has exhibited the leadership necessary to advance these types of commonsense, pro-business efforts.

“We trust that Jennifer will serve as a champion of free enterprise during her time in the Senate and work to fix Florida’s broken and unfair legal system,” added Nick Catroppo, Vice President of Political Operations, Florida Chamber of Commerce. “Her steadfast leadership in the community has proven that her voice is needed in Tallahassee and we look forward to working with her in the Florida Senate.”

The Florida Chamber is proud to support Jennifer Bradley, putting its full 100-plus years of combined political experience behind getting her elected. “It’s an honor to be endorsed by the Florida Chamber of Commerce. I look forward to working with them to strengthen our business community, grow our economy and ensure that Florida’s business climate continues to be the envy of the nation,” said Jennifer Bradley.
