Florida Chamber of Commerce members recently returned from Washington, D.C., where they met with members of the Florida Congressional Delegation to discuss long overdue federal tax reform, healthcare and the importance of trade to job creation in Florida.

The Florida Chamber’s Washington D.C. Fly-In included individual meetings with members of the Florida Congressional Delegation, including Senator Marco Rubio, House Committee on Appropriations Member Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart, Ways and Means Committee Member, Co-Chair of the Florida Congressional Delegation, Past Chair of the Florida Chamber Board of Directors, Congressman Vern Buchanan, and others.
Additional discussions included addressing common sense regulatory reform, lowering healthcare costs and creating better outcomes, investing in infrastructure, entitlement reform and passing the Water Resources Development Act.
