LAKE CITY, FL., June 20, 2023, – The Lake City – Columbia County Chamber of Commerce’s “Legislative Breakfast” will return after a multi-year hiatus. The event is to take place on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, beginning at 8am at The Blanche in Lake City Florida.
“As an organization, it’s extremely important that we advocate with our elected officials on behalf of members, especially when it comes to issues affecting their business and our overall business community.” stated Joey O’Hern, Executive Director.
“We’re excited for the return of the Legislative Breakfast as it provides an opportunity for Chamber members to hear directly from their elected leaders and meet them one-on-one to address any concerns,” stated Rachel Garland, Co-Chair of the Chamber’s Government Affairs Council.
U.S. Representative Kat Cammack as well as Florida State Representative Chuck Brannan and Senator Jennifer Bradley will be in attendance to provide updates regarding the area.
