MakeMore Manufacturing Summit: Unleashing Digital Transformation

Associated Industries of Florida, CareerSource Florida, the Florida Chamber of Commerce,
and FloridaMakes announce the 2023 MakeMore Manufacturing Summit on October 25 – 26 at the Dr.
Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Launched in 2018, the MakeMore Manufacturing Summit is a forum to
exchange ideas, challenges, and opportunities needing to be addressed or pursued to strengthen and
advance Florida’s manufacturing sector.

“Digital technologies are changing the way we make things today and the rate of adoption will define the
competitive playing field for manufacturing going forward” says Kevin Carr, CEO of FloridaMakes. “The
MakeMore Manufacturing Summit is our opportunity as government, industry, and academia to come together
and identify the gaps in our manufacturing ecosystem and to provide recommendations for overcoming those
challenges.”

The MakeMore Manufacturing Summit will feature in-depth, summit-wide discussions facilitated by industry,
academic, and economic thought leaders, public and private, on the tooling, training, and education needed
to grow the Industry 4.0 innovation economy. Speakers and presenters from across Florida and the country will
be featured.
