Creating Pathways to Prosperity
Recent data on TheFloridaScorecard.org shows Florida’s poverty rate decreased to 14.8 percent, down from 15.8 percent. Florida Chamber Foundation research also shows that there are fewer kids under-18 living in poverty- 869,892 kids in poverty in Florida, down from 944,000.
Yet these numbers still mean that more than 2.90 MILLION Floridians are living in poverty, with nearly 870,000 kids under-18.
Join us at the 2018 Florida Business Leaders’ Summit on Prosperity and Economic Opportunity as we learn what Florida’s companies are doing to tackle the issue of poverty and create economic prosperity for all Floridians.
