The Florida Chamber Foundation team is keeping the momentum going in propelling the Florida 2030 Blueprint’s mission and its 39 goals. This month, I’m proud to share with you the following recent highlight picks of our Foundation team blazing the path in making us a top 10 global economy on the road to 2030.
Earlier this month, the Florida Chamber Foundation’s Executive Vice President David Gillespie provided an economic update for Florida and spotlighted areas our state must address to achieve the Florida 2030 Blueprint mission of growing to a top 10 global economy to the Florida Airports Council. David also had the opportunity to highlight the key findings and recommendations of the recently released Florida Trade & Logistics 2030 Study (TL2030), answering questions such as, “How do we position Florida to take advantage of growing global markets
In other TL2030 news, John Kaliski, Principal of our TL2030 research supporting company, Cambridge Systematics, had the opportunity to speak with Foundation Trustee Ananth Prasad and Florida Transportation Builders Association to discuss the role of transportation in helping us secure Florida’s infrastructure as we approach 2030.
Lastly, Florida Chamber Foundation President Mark Wilson delivered a series of presentations throughout the month of August including a presentation to the First Coast Manufacturers Association, taking a look ahead at the future of Manufacturing and the future of work tied to the industry. Additionally, Mark spoke to the leadership team of biomanufacturing company Akron Bio, who will be speaking at our Florida Technology & Innovation Solution Summit today, about the Florida Chamber, the Florida Chamber Foundation and our Florida 2030 Blueprint mission.
